Hey there!

Welcome to the brand-spankin'-new VanCX group. If you own, manage, develop or operate a web-based community, here's your chance to share your experiences with other like-minded folks in and around Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I'm Nick Bouton, your group organizer. I also own/develop/operate Protagonize.com, a collaborative creative writing community based here in Vancouver, but with a worldwide audience of thousands of authors.

Community management and development is a tough and complex business, so comparing notes and sticking together will (hopefully) be beneficial to everyone who joins.

We'll be trying to organize meetups every month or two in order to get this group off the ground. Having participated in and spoken at other user groups in Vancouver in the past, I'm pretty confident that we have enough folks in town to get things rolling nicely.
